The terns and conditions stated here are the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services offered by us. This website offers visitors homewares and lifestyle accessories for sale. By visiting, browsing or purchasing from a life less ordinary, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
ORDERING ACCEPTANCE
You can place your order on line or by phone. If ordering on line you will receive a confirmation e-mail which details your purchase, price and shipping address. Please check that the information is correct and contact us immediately if there is an error. Telephone orders are acknowledged verbally at the time of the order. Orders placed by telephone are accepted when the order is placed and a contract of sale then exists between us and you from that time. When buying an item, you agree that you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it and that you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check out process.
We have the right not to accept an order for any given reason.
PRICING
The prices are displayed on the site in GBP. The final purchase price will be calculated at checkout when shipping costs have been added.
We always try to ensure that the prices shown are accurate. If on the rare occasion that there is an error, we will contact you straight away. Please note that we are under no obligation to offer you the item at the incorrect price and we reserve the right to change prices without notice. But we will give you the option to cancel and refund you if we have misquoted the price.
PAYMENT
Payment is accepted in pounds sterling by most credit or debit cards as detailed on our website at time of order, or with a life less ordinary gift card.
ITEM DESCRIPTION & REPRESENTATION
We display the colours and imagery of the items we sell as accurately as we can. However we cannot guarantee that this is a true reflection of the item you will receive. Colours may vary from those depicted as they can look different on various screens and devices. All measurements are approximate. Items made from natural fabrics may have natural characteristics such as slubs and other irregularities in the yarn. Sometimes colours vary between batches so may not always be consistently in colour.
DELIVERY
We use DPD or Royal Mail and all deliveries need to be signed for. It is important that the shipping address you provide at the time of ordering is correct, as we can not be held responsible for parcels which go missing. Whilst we aim to dispatch orders within 3-5 days, please bear in mind we have no control over delays that may occur due to the couriers or Royal Mail.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
You may return an unused and undamaged item if for any reason it is unsuitable within 14 days from the day that you received the order. You will then receive a full refund, this will not include your initial shipping cost, this is only refunded if the the item is deemed faulty. All items must be returned in their original packaging. You must send your order back at your own cost and we recommend that you use a tracked delivery service and retain the postage receipt as we can not be held responsible for returns that go missing.
We also may refuse a refund for items, if they return to us damaged due to them being inadequately packaged. On receipt of the returned item your refund will be processed within 48 hours, please bear in mind refunds can take up to 10 days to show in your account. If an item is deemed faulty we will offer you a refund or replacement. Please notify us of any damaged items within 48 hrs of receiving your delivery.
If you would like to exchange your purchase for another item, you will have to return your order then place a new one.
